Anger Management

A twenty-six (26) week educational course that utilizes SAMSHA-Anger Management for Substance Abuse and Mental Health modality and tailored for individuals to learn to recognize their feelings of frustration, vulnerability, or powerlessness. Participants learn to manage their reaction in a nonaggressive way by learning to develop appropriate coping skills, improve their communication techniques and develop empathy skills to effectively ensure a positive reaction or responses to external factors/pressures. This course is recognized by New York State Court System and the NYC Administration for Children Services.
